Spicy Burrata Gochujang Gnocchi (20–25 min)
Spicy burrata gochujang gnocchi takes everything you love about Italian comfort food and gives it a bold Korean twist. You’ll toss pillowy gnocchi in a savory-sweet-spicy sauce made with tomato and gochujang, then crown it with creamy burrata that coats the gnocchi. You can easily make it your own by swapping in seasonal veggies and adding your favorite protein.
Since gochujang is our Spice of the Week, here’s a quick flavor hack. Stir it into a honey-soy glaze for roasted chicken, or whisk it into mayo to make a burger spread. Keep a small bundle of gochujang, honey, and sesame oil in your pantry. With just these three, you can whip up an instant sauce for noodles, rice bowls, or grilled vegetables.

Variations and Swaps

Protein boost: Add sautéed shrimp or shredded rotisserie chicken.
Veggie lift: Toss in spinach, roasted mushrooms, or zucchini.
Cheese swap: Use fresh mozzarella or ricotta if burrata isn’t available.
Make it milder: Reduce gochujang or add cream to soften the spice.

Myth: “Searing meat seals in the juices.”
Fact: Searing builds flavor via browning but doesn’t seal anything; rest your meat to retain moisture.
Try this: Pat dry → salt → hot pan; then finish at lower heat for tenderness.
